Feeds near me
Type your city once. We will remember it on this device and show nearby feeds. No background tracking, ever.
Make me a mix builds a starter mix from confirmed fire, police, and ambulance feeds. City mix grabs every confirmed feed from the city above.
Add a feed from OpenMHZ
On openmhz.com, each feed page address ends with a short name (like apsp25). Type it here and we will make sure it works before adding it.
Your mix is empty, let's find some stations to add!
Pop over to the Discover tab and tap Add to my mix on anything you like.

Sound and playback
Good news for your data plan: OpenMHZ sends short saved clips, not a nonstop stream. An hour of listening uses only a few megabytes.
Sleep timer
Stop everything after a while. Great for falling asleep to the radio.

Captions: words with your audio
Our little helper listens to each clip and writes down the words. It can miss words, and it is never an official record. Captions are off until you turn them on.
Keyword listen
Type words separated by commas. If captions mention one, your phone gives one gentle buzz. This is a listening aid, not an alert service.
Comfort
Your privacy with captions and voices
Clips are sent to our caption helper, turned into words, then deleted. Nothing is saved or shared. Voice learning (coming in a later update) will keep voice fingerprints on this device only, and only if you turn on syncing. This app never records you, never shares your listening, and captions are not an official record of anything.
Your data on this device
Everything is saved on this phone or computer only. There are no accounts, and nothing leaves your device in this version.
About and data sources
What this is
Kore Police Radio is your friendly way to find and listen to public police, fire, and ambulance radio. It is not a 911 service, and it is not run by the police. Just press play and explore!
OpenMHZ
OpenMHZ (openmhz.com) is a community website where kind volunteers share recordings of local emergency radio. This app fetches their recent recordings through OpenMHZ's free public feed (no key needed). You will hear short saved clips played in order. A feed marked Live simply means we got fresh clips from it, not that you hear every single second as it happens.
Broadcastify
Broadcastify (broadcastify.com) hosts live emergency radio from all over. Their system needs a special key for apps to connect, and this version does not have one yet, so Broadcastify does not play inside the app for now. You can still open their public feed pages in your browser from the links here. Fingers crossed for a future update!
Please read: staying safe
Listen only, and stay safe. This app plays public radio that anyone is allowed to hear. It cannot unlock private or scrambled channels, it cannot talk back over the radio, and it is not a 911 service. What you hear may be delayed, cut off, or missing. In a real emergency, always call your local emergency number right away.
About captions
Captions are written by a computer helper, and computers mishear things, especially over crackly radio. Every caption line is marked as AI-made and possibly wrong. Captions are a listening aid, not an official record, and never use them in an emergency. Clips sent for captions are turned into words and then deleted. Nothing is saved or shared.
What works now, and what is coming
Working now: finding feeds and checking that they work, playing one feed, seeing many feeds on one screen, playing several at once, saving your own mixes and favorites, captions with zone colors on one feed, saved moments, sleep timer, and quiet hours, all kept cozy on your device.
Coming soon: accounts that sync between your devices, Broadcastify built right in (needs their key), voice learning that remembers speakers, captions on every mix tile, and dedicated phone apps.
